A roto-moulded cooler, or a rotationally moulded cooler, is an extremely durable cooler that is made to keep ice for a span of 5 to 7 days. Roto-moulding is a polyethylene plastic forming process which uses a mould that is placed on these rotating bi-axial arms. These bi-axial arms go into a high-temperature oven which melts the plastic evenly and forms a shape inside the mould. Once they are cooled, the plastic that formed is pulled out and taken to the next step which is the high-pressure polyurethane foam injection. This process gives roto-moulding an advantage over cheap coolers in that the walls and corners are twice as thick and practically impossible to break.
