How to test and choose a good protective box?

2020-08-12 09:08:20

The safety protection box, now generally refers to the plastic box which is molded by the injection molding process. Generally, it has waterproof, shockproof, compressive and anti falling performance. If the protective box can withstand the test in these two aspects, it is no problem. There is a fixed standard for the waterproof performance of the protective box, called ipx7, which means that the box is immersed in water less than half a meter, and there will be no water in half an hour; there is no standard for the anti shock and compressive performance, and there are different detection methods. However, most of the detection methods are through vehicle pressure, high throwing and falling. The following provides two relatively simple detection methods, if the box passed the test, the quality is also very good.

Test method 1: first put the box flat on the ground, and then stand on the box. The whole person's load is on the protective box. If the box is not seriously deformed or rotten, it shows that the load-bearing capacity of the protective box is good and can withstand falling and compression.

Test method 2: the test of waterproof performance is relatively simple. Put a wet paper towel in the box, flush it with water directly after covering the box, or immerse the box in the water for more than 0.5 hours at a depth of half a meter. After that, open the box, and if the paper towel in the box is not wet, the waterproof performance of the box is qualified.
